My favorite band
I'm sure all of you have got one or two most fav band out there, no matter if it's rock/alternative/pop/hip-hop..etc. I may have one for each category above, but today I gotta tell you about my mostest favorite band right now, who happen to be from Indonesia...PeterPan. Yes one word. And yes they are from Bandung not Neverland. Anyway, tired of that introduction, they are just the hottest rock band in Asia Pacific right now.

1. Vocalist and band members writes their own songs (yes even lyrics)
2. And it turns out to be the most uniquely dark but haunting sounds you have ever heard
3. Two of the band members are CUTE (see, I put this point as third, ok?)

But being a big fan of PeterPan, I started the year 2006 by missing their much awaited concert in KL. (Crying frantically inside). And with a few buddies who managed to go to the concert which turned out to be the best show they did (!!), I was even more crushed..I knew I couldn't go because I had already booked my mini vacation to BKK for new years..yeah..great right? Great timing. But I was consoled (a little) when I got to attend their 'Meet The Fans Sessions' at a nearby mall. As much as I felt like a teenager lovesick with celebs, I went to the session. It was satisfyinggg, as I get to see them Up Close but not that Personal. They are (OK, I only look at Ariel and Ukie) as cute in real life as I imagined. Cute, looks friendly, and totally cool. What's with me? I am an old goose acting like a fanatic. But I was well behaved, all I did was madly snapping pictures, and shouting their names once or twice..that's all. But you know me, I wouldn't be like this, unless these bunch of people I admire are really worth it..really. They are the most talented guys I have ever known..And for now all I can do is to keep it under control, while I get distracted by something else..Sigh..
