Ramadhan
The month which I secretly drag has come again. The thought of not being able to munch or haf a cuppa anytime I want, esp in the cold office environment already made me weak. But I was reminded of the good things that come with it, when I read this sentence "Somebody is leaving (the devil). because Ramadhan is coming". What else would I ask but a world free of devils and ghosts right? Heh. The month started out alright. Maybe coz I had fasted a few days before that due to previous year's replacement, so practice makes me not so weak. Colleagues at work make fun of me, always checking to ensure I haven't fainted at my desk.
Now, through the second week of the holy month, getting up for sahur still has not come easy. My favorite time of the day is time to berbuka of course. Especially when I had tagged along mom and dad to the glorious bazar ramadhan. My fav one and which we frequent the most is the one in Taman Melawati. A few times I had caught a glimpse of some of the local artistes, and a few cute men :-P Other than that, the choice of food is good. But the many choices of drinks being sold are enough to make me drool. I discovered a very good watermelon juice from this stall, which I plan to re-visit time and time again this month for sure.
Puasa or no puasa, eating is still my main life agenda. Recently my office department decided to have a berbuka together at Victoria Station USJ. Despite of hating the traffic to that place (and clueless of how to get there!), I played along, and arrived safely. We had a good table inside one of the train 'cars'. Although I was missing my hubby and wishing he was with me, I ordered the steak and lobster on the menu called 'Surf & Turf' :-d This happened to be recommended and was ordered by many of us that night. And indeed, it is delicious..

The rest of the night was boring but surviveable. I drove home a lil lost, but found my way back to Fed Highway.
