Walking zombie
The Mandarin
Courteous. Extremely courteous service is the 1st thing that describes the Mandarin. The check in was smooth, the hi tech smartcard room key (and access to elevator)
is impressive, the room is immaculate. With KLCC our ritual roam destination on weekends, this time we just 'walked' there *grin* Caught MI3, which waas,..ok..typical action movie, good story line. Good in confusing me at 1st. No matter how much fun to walk around, I get more excited walking back to our room.

Each day, a new type of fruits are served on this cool 3 tiered tray on the coffee table. We have a postcard view of KLCC out our window. With a kingsize bed, and
4 pillows, I slept like a baby. The training? That was good, very interesting business mgt stuff..*sneer*. Did I mentioned the fresh flowers overload in the hotel? Even on the tables during the training, there're small bouquets of lily, rose and sunflower arrangement, whiiich of coz, I couldnt resist and pick them out to put in my room..The food? Breakfast is
extremely good, dimsum, wholewheat croissants with pumpkin seeds on it (nice), porridge, miso soup, beef and turkey bacon. Those are just my favs. Worth waking up at 630am for (I dragged hubby to have breakfast before he go to work, but I gobbled most, he just munched on a piece of bread and scrambled eggs). The lunch? Pretty alright, chinese selection, some malay, interesting desserts. Once there was this dessert that's mango pudding with teh tarik ice cream on top..weird, not so good btw. The morning and tea breaks food are quite exciting as well, they served battered fried calamari (weird but delicious), tiny blueberry cheescakes (sweet..), choc filled pastry (yum!!), vanilla muffins with small choc chips on top (delish! I tapau-ed one to the room, in one of the pics here), cold eggrolls (weird)..We ordered room service one evening, I had seafood lasagna, and hubby hainanese chicken rice; not badd. Anyhow, pic speaks louder than words..
