Sun & Surf
The month that I can't eat, but have most makan postings *grin* This time after a convincing persuation, my boss agree for a team berbuka puasa. And when it's a paid-for makan, of course I'll choose the most expensive place *sneer*. Well, being the only gal in the team, and men being lousy in organising, I took the initiative to find the venue. And by recommendations from colleagues, I chose Sun & Surf in Sunway Resort. Upon receiving its menu selection by fax, I was excited, as the the choices are overwhelming. On the same day, we decided to celebrate Andy's belated birthday. Being unshameful, he had asked for Baskin Robbins' ice cream cake.
Heh. It was a good choice as it's delicious as eva! Choc chip mint icecream with issit choc cake? (Who cares about the cake..it's the ice-cream...yumm) The cool thing about the ice cream cake is the packaging. Where dry ice surrounded it, so that it can stay cool.
And we played with the ice, dropping it into water, which created a cool smoke effect. Big boss was there too, the funny and cheerful Lucas. He tried the malay kuih apam balik, and liked it a lot. Hehe. The food in Sun & Surf are mostly good. I say mostly as I was able to get in touch with some only. There were too many barbarians who are like wolves lookin for food. Sigh. And I was a lil tired to hunt hard..The cold seafood at the salad section are the most famous. Only big Chiew manages to get the most, as he is a well-known food bully. All in all, great experience at Sun & Surf, but go only if you have the energy for a rugby game (hypothetically..).
