Back To Nature

Muiz had a few months of practical training in Mutiara Tmn Negara early this year. That gave us the opportunity to have a trip back to nature when we visited him before his training ended. Everyone was worried about the road conditions to the nature park at first, we were surprised, that it has ben fixed and is not bad for the 2 city vehicles that we drove. The duration of the trip was surprisingly not that long either. The only downer was there were not many places to stop and eat on the way. Arriving to the river banks, brought back memories. Not much difference still. We checked in our hotel first, and rested. Muiz asked us to across to Mutiara to check out his work place. But before that we had lunch/tea at a floating restaurant on the river. Breezy and with interesting view of boats passing by. Then we made it across. Emir was very happy to see wild animals during our trekking. At the wild watch out booth, we saw a couple of boars passing by. Also a few more hanging out near the chalets..Monkeys were everywhere too, also big lizards. The cross of the river by the long boat, altho very brief, was exciting enough to give us some sense of adventure. We went back to our hotel and hung out at the pool! The pool look average, but it's nice to swim in it..Even dad was lapping away. That evening we indulged to some seriously overloaded dining at the Mutiara buffet dinner. For RM50 per pax, it was considered well stocked, as we had oysters, lamb chops, all kinds of seafood, pasta and even choc donuts and fried bananas for dessert. Total yummers. We were all so full that night, we were lucky the boat back across the river did not sink..heh. Next day we had crummy breakfast at the hotel where we stayed. Then met Muiz to take some of his bags, then drove home..
