Fraser's

The whole family drove up to Fraser's Hills one weekend and stayed in the shell apartments Pine Resort. We had a good breakfast at the mamak before the winding journey. Along the way, we stopped at a small yet cosy waterfalls, where the kids didn't waste time and splash some water.
Upon arrival, it was nice to reach the comfy 3 bedroom apartment. We rented two, so there was ample space for everyone. We hung out, cooked some cucur, eat, drink. Then that afternoon drove down to downtown Fraser's (heh), and walked about the clock tower, had some snacks, and then dinner. Then went back, washed up and packed infront of the tv to watch AF finale (haha). It ended late, and everyone were all yawny and exhausted. Yeah also the cool temperature makes u feel soooo sleepy all the time. Bedtime. Next morning, I was up before I wanted to, due to the bright sun shining into our room. I walked out in the balcony, and there was the most gorgeous sunrise. It brought stunning shadows through the clouds which were lower than the hills. Magnifique. We all left the apt, most without shower, and headed to the Jeriau waterfalls. It was a lovely hike tht morning, with the sound and sight of gushing streams on your left. The end of the path was the high rising (or should I say falling) waterfalls. As it was cold weather, the water was even colder. But I still waded in it, as it's so refreshing. The kids played with the sands, and B dived in. We were there for not more than an hr, as we needed to head back to the apt, washed up, and checked out. Then we drove down to the Flower nursery which was nothing impressive, and looked for a so-called strawberry farm, which was similarly sad.

Had lunch at this cosy restaurant behind the mosque. Then we started our journey home which was quick and painless. It was nice to be in the cool climate even just for the weekend, and I'll always love Pine Resort apts..Until next time!

Pancake haven!

I've heard about this place so much, so I grab the next opportunity for a makan outing to check it out. I were to meet Mimi before she fly off to her hubby's homeground (bohoo). So it had to be at a place near to heaven. Haha, figure of speach. I suggested Paddington House Of Pancakes. The place I'm dying to try. We went to the Damas branch. We arrived not so early, about 1040am-ish. But we were one of the first customers. Cool! Got a good seat. Didn't waste time checking out the menu. Can't decide, took us awhile, and even after we have decided, doubts came rushing..Haha..typical..I ordered something non-sweet, and Mimi ordered major sweetness. I had something like Mexican style minced beef with mashed potatoes, and Mimi had the traditional american pancake complete with strawberries and bananas..Argh..irresistable! It was nice. Can't wait to go there again!!

Charlotte was good!

Me and thousands of other people won MTV Live concert featuring Good Charlotte. I was so excited to see the 'letter' from MTV. Text my pal, who infact won too! So we all packed the carpark area at Bt Jalil stadium on concert day. The cool thing about sponsored or featured concerts are the free goodies. We got this inflatable 'bats' and I caught Digi's mousepad. We stood near the middle camera, in which Ashraf was infront of the cameras' intro-ing for Beat TV I bet.

The concert starts with openings by One Buck Short (intense!), Estranged (alright..), and Lo (erm...ok lahhh). Then the celebrated band Good Charlotte came out. I was glad I made the effort to listen and underztood their latest album's songz beforehand. My most fav is The River. The show rocked.

The bad side was, we were far from the stage, somewhere in the middle, and view was sad. There were many bitches and bastards in the audience. And I didn't expect that huge of a crowd. I guess Digi really sponsored big time this time, as all of us WON the tickets..all 10thousand of us..Phewh..go figure..

Halal ribs

The American restaurant with its famous ribs Tony Romas opened in Sunway Piramid. Me and a few buddies rushed over to have a taste of some halal ribs..It was lip smackingly delicioussssss..
